Shubh Saran and the members of his band are alumni and professors of some of the finest music institutions in the world, including New York University and the Berklee College of Music. While on tour in India, the band is hosting clinics and workshops on topics ranging from the life of a working musician in New York City to composition techniques and improvisation concepts in contemporary music.
The ninety-minute workshop will be divided into three parts — performance techniques and composition; discussion based topics ranging from working as a professional musician to the future of jazz and improvised music; and an audience Q&A.
