Synthesis is an introductory course exploring concepts and techniques for sound design. Students learn fundamental synthesis concepts and create synth patches using subtractive, additive, and FM synthesis. They analyze existing patches, incorporate synthesized sounds into creative projects, and explore sound effects and musical instrument design.

How to Apply

Step 1 : Apply
GMI has two annual intakes – January and August, subject to meeting minimum enrolment numbers
Fill in the online application form to enroll for the program
Step 2 : Folio Submission
You will be required to submit 1-2 video/audio links of your produced / released work
Step 3 : Selection
We will contact you to arrange for an interview + audition either in person or on video call
If accepted, GMI will send you an offer letter and fee notice
Step 4 : Enroll
To accept your admission at GMI you must submit the required documents, fill the forms and pay the fee by the due date
