Career Development Division (CDD) is a dedicated initiative at GMI which drives on the primary objective of providing a structured support to help our students build sustainable careers in this dynamic and growing industry. By strengthening our network through strategic partnerships with industry leaders—we bridge the gap between musicians and industry expertise along with the essential business know-how, opening doors to internships and job opportunities. Aashna interned at Neon Culture as an Artist Coordinator. She executed tasks for artist consulting projects, attended 3-4 sessions per month, maintained meeting notes, and learned about metadata hygiene, music copyright, and release campaign management. Aashna also coordinated with artists, managed music release and social media campaigns, and assisted with events in Bangalore as needed.

Gautam is interning at Netflix in the Music Creative Production department. He assists the team with daily operations, learning the pre-production, production, and wrap processes. Gautam trains with Netflix Management for potential show assignments and builds relationships with cross-functional teams. He is also gaining insights into the Netflix culture, participating in field visits with industry professionals, and assisting in special events.
