For a decade, GMI, founded by Berklee alumni has been a leader in preparing exceptional students for their studies at Berklee and for their musical careers. GMI continues to be an important partner in Berklee’s global mission of harnessing the power of music to build a better world.

Celebrating their long-standing partnership the two institutions are coming together to announce the GMI-Berklee Track.

In this session representatives from Berklee and GMI leadership will highlight this partnership with a dialogue on avenues for furthering music education in a global context. Guest speakers will include GMI alumni who have transferred to Berklee and have found successful career pathways in the music industry. GMI’s international faculty members who are Berklee alumni as well will expand on the larger vision for global music education shared by both the institutions.
